Antireflection-coated ball lenses from Deposition Sciences (DSI) in the IsoSphere series are suited for fiber optics in telecom applications and range from 200 μm to 10.0 mm in diameter. The ball lenses feature transmission values greater than 99.5%, with indexes up to 2.0 at 550 nm.

The lenses are scratch-resistant, and the uniformity of the anti-reflection coating eliminates the need for orientation during installation. The lenses meet or surpass MIL-C675 testing standards for severe abrasion, adhesion, humidity and salt-fog tests.
