Redline's RedMAX product chosen for first WiMAX network in Gabon
Redline Communications Inc. and Radiall Systems announced IBN Corporate chose Redline's RedMAX products for the first WiMAX network in Gabon. IBN Corporate launched its WiMAX services to businesses and residents in Libreville, Gabon on the April 27, 2007 and will extend its network to serve Port-Gentil and Franceville in Gabon in October 2007 and January 2008. IBN Corporate is the first to bring true broadband wireless services to Gabon.

Radiall Systems has installed Redline's WiMAX Forum Certified RedMAX AN-100U sector controllers throughout the city of Libreville, enabling IBN Corporate to serve more than a thousand users per base station. The RedMAX products will allow IBN Corporate to easily expand its network over time, introduce new WiMAX devices to its network, and will provide the open architecture required to effectively integrate WiMAX with other communications technologies. Radiall Systems also incorporated Redline's RedCONNEX broadband wireless infrastructure products to provide backhaul connections to each of the RedMAX base stations.

The RedMAX 4C is the latest addition to Redline's family of WiMAX products. Operating in the 2.5 GHz and 3.5 GHz spectrum bands, RedMAX 4C is designed to conform to the requirements for 802.16e Certification Wave 2, which is the WiMAX Forum's official certification program for Mobile WiMAX. Supporting a high concentration of subscribers, it enables operators to realize a rapid return on their WiMAX investment, with a low total cost of ownership. The RedMAX 4C includes a modular, standardized (micro) TCA (micro Telecommunications Computing Architecture) chassis base station that is small, lightweight and easy to deploy. RedMAX 4C will also include a suite of indoor and outdoor fixed and portable end-user devices including laptops, mobile handsets and PDAs.
