Two new Wi-Fi platforms
Coastcom has broadened its wireless product line to include the HotPort 6000 AutoMesh node (outdoor/indoor) and the HotPoint 4000 access point (outdoor/indoor).
HotPort 6000 AutoMesh nodes enable multiple network services and standard ethernet devices (such as digital video surveillance cameras, access points, or other network connected devices) to operate on the wireless backbone creating secure and reliable wireless networks for video, voice and data. Designed for maximum performance, scalability, and ease of use, the HotPort mesh network works seamlessly between indoor and outdoor environments and can operate in 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz spectrums. The HotPort 6000 also offers a public safety (PS) version operating at 4.9 GHz, allocated in the United States for exclive use by public safety agencies.
HotPoint 4000 wireless access points deliver a modular access solution for large-scale, indoor and outdoor wire less mesh networks. Modular design enables full network and software integration of the access points with a HotPort wireless mesh network while at the same time permitting independent physical placement of the hard ware to provide optimal accessibility for Wi-Fi clients.
The HotPort 6000 and HotPoint 4000 provide a common wireless network for voice/video/data applications that eliminate costly, disruptive, and time-consuming provisioning, found in traditional wired Ethernet networks.
