Qualcomm and Freestyle Audio revealed the design for a waterproof MP3 player featuring a color mirasol display. The Freestyle Audio Soundwave includes a 0.9-inch display, allowing outdoor use. The FA300 also has Bluetooth capabilities. The screen relies upon thin films that reflect back color from incident white light to create images, similar to a butterfly's irridesence (and hence the use of the butterfly as part of the mirasol branding).
