Ethertronics has unveiled its Ether 1.2 product line, a portfolio of antenna and RF products for ensuring that Long-Term Evolution (LTE) notebook PCs support the necessary frequencies for global operation and spec compliance. The products combine a patented isolated magnetic dipole (IMD) antenna design with advanced antenna system techniques including active band switching. They consist of a thin and narrow antenna structure that fits in the most size-critical notebook display bezels. The result is a system that meets global carrier specs in all existing industrial, LTE-notebook designs.
