Crystek Corp.’s new line of VCOs, labeled Red Box series, come in robust aluminum enclosure (1.25” x 1.25” x 0.58”) with SMA connectors. According to Crystek, the new VCOs are designed to enhance durability and make integration of a VCO into any application an easy, plug-and-play option.

Aimed at applications such as digital radio equipment, fixed wireless access, satellite communication systems, base stations, personal communications systems, portable radios, and test instruments, the VCOs are available in narrow to wide band frequencies, feature low phase noise and harmonic suppression, and provide excellent linearity. Pricing for the Red Box series (1~5 pieces) ranges from $75 to $150 based on VCO performance.
