Improved signal analyzer handles complex wireless communication systems
Anritsu Company’s version 2.0 of high-performance signal analyzer Signature (MS2781A) offers 30 times faster operation speed, increased bandwidth, improved IQ vector output and better amplitude accuracy. Plus, it is compatible with its vector signal generator MG3700A. It provides engineers with advanced instruments for measuring complex RF and microwave communication systems, including 3.5G and 4G.
Offering digital modulation analysis over the 100 Hz to 8 GHz frequency range, the new version of Signature offers a demodulation bandwidth of 50 MHz so it can capture, measure and analyze wide-modulation bandwidth signals. The amplitude accuracy is improved to 0.65 dB.
To create a highly versatile and accurate test solution for engineers working on proprietary or new digital modulation schemes, Signature can now be combined with MG3700A. The seamless integration between Signature and MATLAB enables users to capture and analyze multiple traces with speed and accuracy.
Other key features include a TOI of 23 dBm, displayed average noise level (DANL) of <-147 dBm in a 1 Hz bandwidth and <1.25% EVM for many QAM and PSK levels. Designed with an open Windows environment, the analyzer can easily facilitate the exchange of simulated and measured data necessary to accurately analyze complex RF signals. The MS2781A is priced at $49,500.
