Partnership seeks to improve and deploy digital macrocells
Intrinsity and Agere Systems have signed a technology agreement to develop high performance digital macrocells for integration into future Agere products. Utilizing Intrinsity's Fast14 technology, Intrinsity will develop digital macrocells that will offer both high performance and low power operation.
The foundations of this project are Intrinsity's proprietary Fast14 technology, high-speed memory design capability, and expert design services. Fast14, comprised of Intrinsity's Fast14 domino circuit technology, process specific libraries, specification languages and a design environment, provides high circuit speeds and the means to trade-off speed, power and area to achieve an optimal solution to customer design targets.
