The KSZ8041NL from Micrel, developer of analog, high-bandwidth communications and Ethernet IC solutions, is the company’s sixth generation PHY solution. The power consumption of the IC is 150 mW, with ESD ratings at 6 kV. This chip is ideal for applications where PC board real estate is at a premium, where low power is important, or where stringent ESD conditions apply, such as in Industrial Ethernet environments.
