MMIC Amplifiers Boast High Output Power
Three GaAs MMIC power amplifiers from Custom MMIC offer an output 1-dB compression point of greater than +28 dBm, with gain levels from 20 to 30 dB.
Three gallium-arsenide (GaAs) monolithic microwave IC (MMIC) power amplifiers from Custom MMIC offer an output 1-dB compression point of greater than +28 dBm, with gain levels from 20 to 30 dB. The CMD169P4 covers from 5 to 7 GHz, the CMD170P4 covers from 7.5 to 9 GHz, and the CMD171P4 covers from 9.5 to 11 GHz. All three power amplifiers require only positive bias, eliminating the need for costly and complicated sequencing circuitry. They also offer an on-chip detector for applications where power leveling is required. Housed in lead-free 4-by-4 quad flat no-lead (QFN) plastic packages, they comply with the European Union’s Restrictions on Hazardous Substances and are 50-Ω matched on the input and output ports. And, dc blocks aren’t required.
