Multi-Sync Software Clock Is A First For 4G/LTE Equipment
Targeting small cells, macro basestations, and backhaul infrastructures, SoftClock SCi 2000 rel. 2.0 unfolds as the first multi-sync software clock solution to meet the synchronization requirements of LTE and 4G equipment.
Targeting small cells, macro basestations, and backhaul infrastructures, SoftClock SCi 2000 rel. 2.0 unfolds as the first multi-sync software clock solution to meet the synchronization requirements of Long-Term Evolution (LTE) and 4G equipment. The Symmetricom SCi 2000 SoftClock is essentially a carrier-grade, multiple-input software clock that allows systems to select from multiple sync inputs and provide the best clock output. Features include support for 50-ppb at air interface frequency requirements and a phase figure of ±1.5 ms, the ability to handle multiple sync standards including PTP 1588, SyncE, GPS, UTI and E1/T1, and the BesTime reference management algorithm, which takes multiple inputs and disciplines local oscillators to generate accurate clock outputs.
