L-com’s Hyperlink line of horizontal polarized waveguide omnidirectional antennas now includes 2.4-GHz models in 9-dBi and 13-dBi versions (see the figure). According to the company, their very low loss makes them very efficient to operate. Their horizontally polarized design suits areas susceptible to the effects of interference generated by commonly used vertically polarized wireless local-area network (WLAN) equipment. Additional features include rugged UV-resistant PVC radomes designed for all-weather operation and steel mast mounting brackets. The WU series antennas are stocked for same-day shipment. Engineering drawings, 3D CAD models, datasheets, and more are available for free download at the L-com Web site.
