Via an active impedance-matching design, characteristics of the antenna/RF performance adapt to the antenna’s environmental conditions. A compact solution, EtherSmart LTE 1.0 reduces the antenna’s physical volume by 50% while maintaining compliance with standards such as 3GPP Release 8 LTE. Its design can compensate for antenna-system detuning due to hand and head effects. Expect to see EtherSmart LTE 1.0 in commercial products by the end of this year.
