Programmable delay line offers precision

A custom, programmable delay line instrument is Dow-Key’s latest offering. The 8001 programmable delay line instrument offers wideband electrical signal delay and precision programmable control in one easy-to-setup instrument. Total delay is custom-configurable up to 200 ns with a minimum step size resolution of 10 ps or 3.6 degrees per 1 GHz input signal frequency. The instrument control supports GPIB (IEEE488.2), Ethernet TCP/IP and RS-232 interface protocols. Target applications include R&D and ATE requiring high precision delay with programmable control in timing and synchronization, phase shifting and noise cancellation.
