Semflex, a Stratos International company and manufacturer of flexible microwave coaxial cable, has announced the availability of RoHS-compliant high-performance microwave cable assemblies.

Semflex' HP microwave cable already meets the RoHS-6 standard - free of all of the six heavy metals that the standard seeks to virtually eliminate. In addition, it now has the cable termination process in place to produce RoHS-compliant cable assemblies to RoHS Level 6 (lead-free) on customer request.

Furthermore, the manufacturer is also offering to share its lead-free soldering process with purchasers of bulk cable so that they can produce RoHS-compliant HP cable assemblies.
