Thin-film surface-mount attenuators perform at high frequencies
TT electronics IRC Advanced Film Division has introduced a series of thin-film surface mount attenuators tailored to high-frequency wireless applications. Fabricated using the company's tantalum nitride film (TaNFilm) process, the attenuators offer precision tolerances and a high degree of environmental stability.
Offered in 0.024 inch x 0.063 inch x 0.126 inch packages, the PFC series attenuators feature an attenuation range of 1 dB to 20 dB at frequencies typically ranging from DC to 6 GHz. These devices also specify 50-ohm impedances and absolute TCRs of +/-100 ppm/°C. In quantities of 5000, typical unit pricing is $1.00.
