Positioning as the smallest RF thin-film capacitors with the tightest tolerances, one addition to the AVX Accu-P RF series is a subminiature 01005 size chip capacitor in values from 0.05 pF to 2.4 pF with a tolerance of ±0.01 pF. Accu-P components also exhibit low equivalent series resistance (ESR) and high Q at VHF, UHF, and microwave frequencies. Employing high purity electrodes, they are available in standard 01005, 0201, 0402, 0603, 0805, and 1210 chip sizes and feature lead-free, nickel/solder-coated terminations, rated for use in temperatures from –55°C to 125°C. Applications include commercial/military communications devices, satellite/cable TVs, GPS, test and measurement equipment, radar, RF modules, filters, matching networks, video switching, and VCOs.
