Aeroflex expands presence in Asia
Aeroflex Inc. has opened a new sales office for its Test and Measurement group in Taipei City, Taiwan in the Xinyi district. This new office will become the nucleus for the sales and support of Aeroflex test products and systems in Taiwan and will help facilitate the strong growth within the wireless manufacturing industry in this country. The company has appointed Allen Chen the new country manager for Taiwan.
Chen comes to Aeroflex with seven years experience in the telecom industry and eight-plus years in the IT industry. His experience encompasses computer science, engineering, project management, technical support, country management and customer service management. He began his career in the IT industry and was a computer science teacher. In 1999, he joined Taiwan Victory Company as a technical support engineer, mainly supporting Anite and RACAL products.
In 2003, Chen joined Anite Telecoms Ltd in Taiwan where he held several positions including technical support engineer, Taiwan country manager and China/Taiwan customer service manager. Chen holds a computer engineering degree from the Chung Yuan Christian University.

"Allen's knowledge of the market along with his knowledge of the telecom industry should lead us to future success and business growth."
