RF/microwave components supplier bags Boeing's top honor
Ducommun Incorporated, Los Angeles, has announced that its Ducommun Technologies, Inc. (DTI) subsidiary’s Carson facility has been honored at Boeing’s third annual company-wide awards program as “Common Aerospace Commodities” Supplier of the Year. DTI’s Carson facility was one of 13 winners selected by Boeing through a company-wide review process encompassing over 10,900 Boeing suppliers in more than 66 countries. Boeing chose the winning supplier in each category by applying a rigorous criteria based on statistical measurements of quality, on-time delivery and cost.
According to Paul Graham, president, DTI, “It is a tremendous honor to be one of 13 companies singled out for top honors by Boeing, recognized the world over as an organization that places highest priority on engineering excellence, reliability, value and customer satisfaction.” He added, “It has been a true company-wide effort by all of us, and without the close collaboration and teamwork with our counterparts at Boeing we could not have achieved this degree of success.”
In support of Boeing’s military, commercial and space requirements, DTI provides a wide range of electronic and electro-mechanical components, avionics panels, subassemblies and assemblies.
