Defense contractor awards million-dollar contract to Microwave Dynamics
Microwave Dynamics, Tustin, Calif., has been awarded a contract in excess of $1.1 million to supply its hermetically sealed version of its PLO 2000 phased-locked oscillator to a major U.S. defense contractor. The oscillators will be used for a military airborne project.
These models of Microwave Dynamics oscillators are designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions such as intense shock, vibration and temperature ranges (-55°C to + 105°C). These units, as well as the company's full line of products, have been designed to have ultra low noise and microphonics. MD also manufactures oscillators for commercial uses.
