ModeLabs has announced the Bluetrek Bizz launch with Orange in France. This Bluetooth headset, whose innovative mechanism is currently patent pending, highlights the repositioning of the group's Bluetooth business and its ability to bring high added-value specialized products to this segment of the market.

The Bluetrek® Bizz is a 3-in-1 Bluetooth headset with the added functionality of being able to stock up to 8 GB of data thanks to an integrated microSD memory card. This extremely light headset, weighing in at no more than 10 grams, can be charged using any computer thanks to its USB connector. Data is transferred rapidly via USB 2.0.

"The ModeLabs’ engineers have succeeded in integrating into a compact and stylish Bluetooth headset both a flash memory drive for the storage and exchange of files and a USB connector for direct charging without the need for a supplementary cable." explained Henri-Nicolas Olivier, director of ModeLabs Technologies. Then he said: "Their goal is to simplify access to the technology and facilitate the use of the products that they develop."

ModeLabs Group foresees in 2008 a large renovation of its range of Bluetooth accessories. Accessories represent about 30% of the business activity of the leader in personalized mobile telephony (On Demand). Additional resources in the areas of both engineering and marketing have been assigned to the restructuring of the Bluetooth business.
The leading players in the mobile telephone sector already recognize the BluetrekBizz's potential and are generous in their praise for the innovative abilities of ModeLabs’ R&D teams.

"It was important that such an innovative product be exclusively distributed by France's largest distribution network, the Orange boutiques." explained Patrick Guinard, director of marketing distribution at Consumer Sales Management, FRANCE TELECOM Operations France.
