Wireless security software developer Columbitech and solutions provider Toshiba TEC America will collaborate to offer security for transportation and retail wireless devices. By integrating Columbitech’s Wireless VPN, Toshiba TEC America’s wireless products such as barcode printers, POS systems, and electronic cash registers will gain an increased level of security, which is increasingly critical for retailers.

Additionally, the seamless roaming feature enhances transportation communications by enabling users to travel from network to network without ever having to re-login. The Columbitech Wireless VPN also works with virtually any system including proprietary systems and legacy devices.
