ABI Research Releases New Broadband Subscribers Database
ABI Research, Oyster Bay, N.Y., has announced the mid-June scheduled release of a revised edition of its "Broadband Voice, Video and Data Subscriber Database," which offers timely data on global penetration of emerging broadband technologies.
Previous editions of this study have been in the form of research reports; however, analyst Joseph Yau said that although the most recent of these reports is still current and still available, the new release will have a new form: that of an interactive database.
Users purchasing this database will be able to perform their own "data mining" through a familiar browser interface, sorting and exporting the desired information at will as an Excel spreadsheet.
"The database will be updated with new information as it becomes available," said Yau, "and users will have access to those updates for 12 months following their purchase."
