AdventNet Inc. has announced that D-Link will bundle Wi-Fi Manager with its wireless access points to give small- to medium-sized businesses greater management control and security for their wireless local area networks.

D-Link will bundle AdventNet's ManageEngine Wi-Fi Manager with eight of its most popular wireless access points to provide small- to medium-sized businesses with enterprise-class centralized management and security of their WLANs. The comprehensive package will be offered with D-Link's DWL-2100, DWL-2200, DWL-2700, DWL-3200, DWL-7100, DWL-7200, DWL-7700 and DWL-8200.

AdventNet's Wi-Fi Manager software can detect major wireless threats, including rogue attacks, intrusions, sniffers, DoS attacks and other vulnerabilities. Wi-Fi Manager, which supports all major WLAN standards, including 802.11a, 802.llb, 802.llg, WEP and WAP, automatically discovers the D-Link access points and makes configuration and firmware upgrades quick and easy.
