Efforts will enhance U.S. Navy's use of millimeter-wave communications
GigaBeam has entered into an agreement with the Epsilon Lambda Electronics Corporation for the former to provide technological design and support for a millimeter-wave communications system for the U.S. Navy.
Bob Knox, president and CEO of Epsilon Lambda stated, "The high-data-rate technology developed by GigaBeam represents a quantum leap in wireless communications capability. The commercialization pioneered by GigaBeam of previously unaffordable millimeter-wave circuitry opens new applications in the military and commercial markets."

This initiative further underscores the importance of millimeter-wave technology in advancing military and government communications."
GigaBeam is a provider of high-performance, wireless point-to-point communications access solutions that operate in the licensed 71 GHz to 76 GHz and 81 GHz to 86 GHz radio spectrum. This equipment operates at multigigabit-per-second speeds. GigaBeam Corporation headquarters is located in Herndon, VA. Epsilon Lambda Electronics Corporation designs, develops and manufactures millimeter-wave radar, radios, cameras and millimeter-wave components. The company is located in Chicago, IL.
