Joint venture is bringing emergency communications to China
Intrado Technology (China) Co. Ltd. Inc., a provider of integrated data and telecommunications solutions, has been granted a business license enabling it to operate in China. With headquarters in Beijing, the company will develop enhanced emergency communications solutions for public safety and disaster management agencies. Intrado Technology (China) Co. Ltd. is a joint venture formed by Intrado Inc., a provider of integrated data and telecommunications solutions, and PDAger Technology Development Co., Ltd., a provider of mobility services and wireless emergency call solutions.
Intrado and PDAger announced plans for the joint venture on June 30, 2005, and have since completed the requirements of the People's Republic of China for issuance of a business license as a technologically-advanced company registered in the Zhongguancun National Science-Tech Park in Beijing.
Intrado will combine Intrado's emergency services and 911 call routing and location provisioning expertise with PDAger's enhanced emergency calling services platforms to deliver emergency communications solutions for the local environment.
