Wireless spread spectrum provider receives $113 million

Wireless spread spectrum radio technology provider FreeWave Technologies has received a $113 million investment from private equity company TA Associates. This investment is intended to help Boulder, Colorado-based FreeWave to accelerate its growth into existing and new markets with additional R&D, said FreeWave.
