GlobeTel Communications Corp. has agreed to provide a HotZone wireless communication network for a pilot program in Shenzhen, China, with Guangdong Tietong South Communication Co. Ltd, a group company of China Tietong Telecom Corp., one of only six licensed telecom operators in China.

Upon successful completion of the pilot program, GlobeTel Wireless and its local Chinese partners will commence a roll out of Wireless Communication Networks throughout China to deliver voice, data and video applications.

The HotZone network base stations employ both WiMAX and Wi-Fi to provide high performance applications integrating voice, data and video with mobility.
