Instruments supplier establishes handheld solutions partners program
Anritsu Company, Morgan Hill, Calif., has established a Handheld Solutions Partners Program to better address the test needs of wireless network professionals. The creation of the partners program allows Anritsu to more closely work with industry-leading software providers to develop integrated test solutions faster and easier than before so field technicians and engineering management can ensure optimum performance of today's wireless networks.
The deployment of 3G technologies and the continued rollout of 2G and 2.5G networks have made the need for accurate testing and analysis more critical, while also making it more difficult. Anritsu's Handheld Partners Program has been established to create solutions specifically designed to satisfy the more stringent testing requirements created by the increased use of the RF spectrum.
Anritsu will work with partners able to provide a natural synergy to the company's handheld test instruments. In addition to the Site Master cable and antenna analyzer family, Anritsu's handheld product line includes the Spectrum Master handheld spectrum analyzers and Cell Master cable, antenna and base station analyzer. Designated partners will provide application-oriented software and services solutions that will augment and expand the capabilities of the Anritsu instruments.
The first members are SweepMasters, LLC and Summitek Instruments. Users can upload field measurements taken with the Site Master to SweepMasters' web site for near real-time analysis by engineering management. A bundled solution consisting of a Spectrum Master and Summitek's OASIS II software can also be purchased from either Anritsu or Summitek. Anritsu expects to announce more Handheld Solutions Partners in the near future.
Companies interested in investigating the program can contact either Pete Alexander, District Sales Manager, Anritsu Field Solutions or Katherine Van Diepen, program administrator.
