High-Gain/-Linearity LNAs Infiltrate Cellular Infrastructures
Chiseled for cellular infrastructure applications such as tower-mounted amplifiers, remote radio units, repeaters, and basestations, Skyworks offers a series of high gain, two stage low-noise amplifiers (LNAs) employing both GaAs pHEMT and GaAs HBT technology. The SKY67105-306LF 0.6 GHz to 1.1 GHz and SKY67106-306LF 1.5 GHz to 3 GHz LNAs reside in small, quad flat, 4-mm square leadless packages and employ an on-die, active-bias design that ensures consistent performance and enables unconditional stability. The pHEMT front-end enables ultra low noise figure, while the HBT-based output stage provides both high linearity and efficiency. Specs include a noise figure of less than 0.75 db, a linearity of +38 dBm OIP3, and a gain greater than 32 db. Samples are available and pricing depends on quantities ordered. Datasheets for the SKY67105-306LF and SKY67106-306LF are available for your viewing pleasure, respectively, at http://www.skyworksinc.com/Product.aspx?ProductID=873 and http://www.skyworksinc.com/Product.aspx?ProductID=874.
