JiWire has announced the release of Hotspot Helper, an integrated suite of essential software for Wi-Fi users.

The suite includes:

-- Wi-Fi Security, which ensures Wi-Fi users' privacy at public hotspots;

-- Wi-Fi Mailer, which guarantees e-mail delivery, even at the many Wi-Fi hotspots that block outgoing e-mail;

-- Wi-Fi Hotspot Finder, an offline directory of more than 120,000 verified Wi-Fi hotspots in 128 countries;

Each component of Hotspot Helper is an upgrade to its predecessor, JiWire SpotLock. JiWire also announced a strategic partnership with Tropos Networks to promote Hotspot Helper to users of its rapidly growing number of municipal wireless broadband networks.

HotSpot Helper is available as a free download, and its security and e-mail delivery features may be used up to 30 minutes per day. Unlimited use of all the product's features may be purchased for $24.95 per year.

Tropos Networks selected JiWire for its MetroMesh Solution Partners program and endorsed Hotspot Helper as a best-in-breed complementary product to its metro-scale Wi-Fi offerings.
