JiWire has announced that The Cloud, Europe's largest Wi-Fi network operator, has selected JiWire to power The Cloud's worldwide Hotspot Locator. The Hotspot Locator is available in English, German and Swedish and enables The Cloud's customers to search for a hotspot by location and venue type. The Hotspot Locator also provides detailed hotspot venue information, including maps, directions and location amenities.

"Public Wi-Fi usage is growing exponentially around the world, and a critical part of any broadband provider's services is helping customers to easily find Wi-Fi hotspots when they're away from home," said Kevin McKenzie, CEO of JiWire. "Our verified Wi-Fi hotspot directory will enable The Cloud to provide its subscribers with organized, detailed information about The Cloud hotspots in Europe."
