Laird Technologies introduces Phantom Elite antenna for mobile, fixed applications
Antenex has introduced its Phantom Elite mobile antenna for mobile and fixed applications. The indoor and outdoor antenna features patented True Field Diversity technology that provides vertical and horizontal polarization in a low profile, sleek design. The devices are used in public safety, taxi and utility vehicles as well as Wi-Fi applications. Moreover, the patented circuit board design ensures uninterrupted video and data transmissions in urban canyons and rural drop-off areas where traditional antennas fail. The product is available in volume production and is obtainable in VHF, UHF, 2.4 GHz and dual-band cell/PCS versions. Most Phantom Elite mobile antennas also provide users with a 3 db-MEG gain. All models are produced with field-proven ABS injection molded material. Combined with the low-profile, aerodynamic housing, Phantom Elite antennas are less susceptible to damage and vandalism. The antennas can be mounted with a NMO or permanent N female mount. Pricing is dependent on frequency and mounting styles.
