IPCo LLC, which was granted early patents from the United States Patent Office on its mesh network business platforms, has filed another patent infringement lawsuit against Tropos Networks Inc.

The civil action filed by IPCo, LLC asserts that Tropos Networks wireless mesh system infringes IPCo, LLC – EWM U.S. Patent No. 7,103,511, which was issued to the plaintiff in 2006. IPCo, LLC filed the suit in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Georgia.

This is the second EWM patent lawsuit filed in Georgia by IPCo LLC against Tropos Networks in less than a year. On March 13, 2006, IPCo LLC filed its first patent infringement suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Georgia, alleging that Tropos is infringing IPCo’s EWM Patent U.S. 6,249,516 patent.
