LTI DataComm has announced its achievement of becoming Aruba Networks’ first federal partner to be certified to sell and support Aruba’s award-winning Aruba Secure Enterprise Mesh 802.11 (Wi-Fi) solution. This solution allows the federal government to deliver reliable wireless voice, video and data services with end-to-end security. Aruba Mesh Wi-Fi is specifically geared to enable FIPS 140-2 and DoD directive 8100.2 compliant wireless connectivity in extreme environments.

Aruba’s Secure Enterprise Mesh technology sends information from location to location over a completely wireless network – no new network cabling is required – and is designed for business-critical applications in which highly reliable communications and client-to-core security are important. The wireless mesh can self-organize, determine the optimal path for communication to any given client, and self-heal in the event that a wireless path is blocked or a mesh access point fails.

Aruba Mesh Wi-Fi, winner of Best of Interop 2007, uses one common infrastructure to serve many networking requirements including Wi-Fi access, wireless intrusion protection, wireless backhaul, LAN bridging and point-to-multipoint connectivity. The Aruba Mesh solution is managed by a FIPS 140-2 level-2-certified controller, which ensures the highest level of network security across the entire deployment.

This solution is available via LTI DataComm’s GSA schedule, NETCOM-ESTA Wireless BPA, ECS-III and other government contracting vehicles.
