New five-way, wireless band splitter covers 700 to 2700 MHz
Microlab/FXR has introduced its Model D5-85FN, a new five-way, wideband reactive power splitter that exhibits a split loss of 7 dB. The new model extends the series Dx-85 FN — all exhibiting a bandwidth of 700 – 2700 MHz.
The low loss of a reactive component, such as the D5-85FN, helps make the passive design realizable without recourse to amplifiers or other active components. This passive approach enhances reliability, cuts installation cost and exhibits a high communications survival potential in an emergency situation. Insertion loss is less than 0.05 dB, PIM is guaranteed to be less than -150 dBc, and the splitters are compliant with IP68 and RoHS. If required, the product can be delivered with 7-16 mm DIN connectors.
This Model D5-85FN is available for immediate evaluation.
