Pumped for work and play, Motorola Mobility’s latest smartphone, the PRO+, employs scratch resistant Gorilla Glass from Corning to better withstand the rigors of mobile life.
Available in Asia and Europe starting in October, the 62 mm x 119.50 mm x 11.65 mm phone uses the Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) operating system and features a 1-GHz processor, QWERTY keyboard, plus Quickoffice Connect for accessing, creating. and editing documents. It syncs services from multiple sources and calendar options are available to arrange, edit, and respond to a plethora of communiqués. The PRO+ also provides 3G Mobile HotSpot capabilities for connecting multiple devices and a unique, interactive music player. Other features include 25 Exchange ActiveSync security policies including PIN lock, auto-discovery of Exchange Servers, Extended Device Management API's, and 3LM integration, a 3.1" 640 x 480 VGA display, 5-Mpixel camera with auto focus and LED flash, and 4 GB of internal storage, expandable up to 32GB.
