Nvidia and ZTE unveil the ZTE Mimosa X, which they describe as the first smart phone powered by both the Nvidia Tegra application processor and Icera 450 HSPA+ modem. In addition to an Nvidia Tegra 2 mobile processor, the Mimosa X packs a GeForce GPU and operates with Ice Cream Sandwich, a.k.a., Android 4.0. Other features include a 4.3-in. qHD (960 by 540) screen, rear and front 5-Mpixel cameras, and 4 Gbytes of storage expandable to 32 Gbytes. Multimedia capabilities include advanced audio distribution profile (A2DP), Dolby sound, digital living network alliance (DLNA) compatibility, HD video record and play, dual microphones, and a gyroscope.
