Hittite Microwave Corporation has introduced a parametric product search tool specifically designed for the RF engineer. This new web tool allow design engineers to specify the important parameters of the required product and view the three Hittite products that match their requirement in a specification-compliance format. Unlike conventional search engines that eliminate products that narrowly fall outside of specification, the parametric product search tool can show these products, thereby allowing the engineer to make intelligent design trade-off decisions to "fine tune" the requirement to their needs.

Individual specifications can be turned on or off to simplify the search process further. Convenient hyperlinks directly connect the search results to the full product datasheets for detailed inspection in a separate window. Once the search results are satisfactory, the tool can export the resulting table in several convenient formats including MS Excel, MS Word or tab-delimited formats. The engineers can also add their own unique part identifier to the search results for better documentation.
