Partners to supply $1.9 million of LAN equipment to Republic of Korea Air Force

CinTel Corp. has signed a $1.9 million sales agreement with the Republic of Korea Air Force (ROKAF) to supply network equipment. CinTel will, in conjunction with Samsung Networks, supply all replacement local area network(LAN) equipment to ROKAF, with the exception of cables.

This project involves replacing outdated, asynchronous LAN equipment currently being used by the ROKAF with highly effective, gigabit Ethernet-based environment. This will enable ROKAF to greatly increase informational resources so that the ROKAF may look ahead to a more secure network environment that will enable highly efficient security, operation, education and technology within the network. Samsung Networks was founded in 1987 to improve the communication business in Korea. The company is engaged in global information communication enterprises, connecting more than 70 countries around the world based on four domestic information network centers in Korea and five overseas IT centers. Though based in the United States, CinTel Corp. has its main business operations in Korea and provides enterprise technology solutions to deliver internal and external network service.
