FCN film chip capacitors

Cornell Dubilier's new FCN film chips are stable, won't crack and withstand solder reflow. Construction is stacked metallized Polyethylene Napthalate (PEN) film that results in a low esr and high frequency performance. Capacitance values range from 0.001 mF to 1.0 mF, covering standard voltage ratings of 16, 50, 100 and 250 Vdc. Standard capacitance tolerances are ñ???5%???(16, 50 and 100 VDC) and ñ10% (100 and 250 VDC). Operating temperature ranges up to 105ø C (16, 50 and 100 VDC) and to +85ø C (100 and 250 VDC ratings). The FCN series is suited for applications including EMI noise filtering, power supply input/ output filtering, audio or signal coupling and IC power bus bypassing or decoupling. They are designed for reflow solder surface mounting and come packaged on tape and reel.
