Raltron Electronics announces a family of SMT metal can quartz crystals. The ASxxD family of devices addresses the long lead times currently facing the plastic- and ceramic-housed crystal makers. The series consists of five pinout configurations in a HC-49 low-profile metal package. Each of the series members are electrically identical, but offer a different set of SMT pad inserts on the bottom. The devices are targeted at telecom, wireless, computer, and related devices. They are packaged for high-volume pick-and-place SMT manufacturing.
