Adtran has expanded its point-to-point microwave radio product line with the addition of TRACER 5.8 GHz digital microwave radio. TRACER uses spread-spectrum technology to provide two independent T1 or E1 communication links in the unlicensed ISM band. The radio provides an alternative to operating wireless radio equipment in the traditional 2.4 GHz band. It can be used to provide connectivity solutions for temporary or emergency requirements and to solve last-mile accessibility problems.
