ST-Ericsson Reaches 5 Million TD Chipsets Shipped in China

ST-Ericsson has shipped 5 million TD chipsets in China, the company says. The chipsets power more than 100 models of TD devices including handsets, data cards, and embedded devices. ST-Ericsson says the milestone reflects its market leadership in China’s 3G standard, TD-SCDMA. The company distributes its TD chipsets through its subsidiary company, T3G.
