Remote Access Software Expanded To Mobile Phones
SingleClick Systems will demonstrate its remote access technology, which is now available to support mobile streaming to the iPhone 3G, Blackberry Bold, and the T-mobile G1, at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas during the 2009 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) Jan. 8-11.
Dell recently rolled this software out as Dell Remote Access, enabling users to remotely access and manage their home or office network and stream their personal video or music content directly to their laptop or mobile phone anywhere in the world.
Unlike other remote access offerings, SingleClick’s software features a specialized media server capable of detecting the ideal file formats and transfer speeds a mobile device can support, then transcoding and delivering the media in real time, tailored for the device’s specific capabilities and enabling the highest quality playback of content.
