Smart-Phone Platform Now Supports HTML5 And Windows Phone 7 Apps
In its latest version, the Worklight 4.1 HTML5 native and hybrid platform for smart-phone and tablet apps now allows users to build, run, and manage HTML5 mobile Web apps without the need for proprietary interpreters. This release also supports Windows Phone 7 hybrid apps and provides enhanced security and app-management features. Other added features include the enforced update of applications without requiring users to download the latest version (Direct App Update), 256-bit encryption of data input by users or delivered from backend systems (Secure on-Device Storage), and visual tracking and management of app notifications across devices, operating systems, and versions (Push Notification Console).
