Broadband MMIC amplifier is reliable
Amplical Corp has unwrapped a new family of broadband linear medium-power amplifiers designed with MMIC technology. According to Amplical, it offers an economical and reliable solution. The model AMP10M2G-35-25 is a 10 MHz to 2 GHz amplifier that features 35 dB nominal gain. The amplifier outputs at least 23 dBm of power with P1dB powers of typically 25 dBm. Current draw is less than 350 mA from +12 V supply. Typical noise figure is less than 4 dB. Connectors are SMA(f), and delivery is usually from stock.
Suitable as a broadband gain block, the amplifier is aimed at test equipments and wireless applications. Amplical said that other models are available that feature additional gain, different input voltages and frequency ranges. In 10-piece quentities, AMP10M2G-35-25 is priced at US $325 each.
