HMI Engineering Apps Get An Overhaul
Altia unveils the updated versions of its suite of human-machine interface (HMI) engineering software: Altia Design 9.2, PhotoProto 2.0, and FlowProto 1.5. The latest versions of these graphical user interface (GUI) development tools proffer a smarter way to engineer unique, custom embedded displays. The releases offer several advancements as well as enhanced support for features like Snapshot Object, an app for creating engaging transitions and dynamic reflections. Other additions/enhancements include Language Object for building multi-language support into an HMI, Distort for adding 3D effects into a 2D displace, and Skin Object for developing a single HMI and for altering the look of other interfaces. Additionally, the upgrades add support for a wider variety of industry-standard processors.
