Quadros RTOS Adds Support For LPC4300 MCU

Advancing ARM-based processors, Quadros Systems adds support for NXP’s LPC4300 series microcontroller (MCU) to its RTXC Quadros real-time operating system (RTOS).

The dual-core MCU integrates ARM Cortex-M4 DSP extensions with a Cortex-M0 core. Working with the RTOS, it is viable for motor-control, power-management, industrial-automation, robotics, and medical applications. The RTXC Quadros RTOS includes multitasking with selectable scheduling policies: preemptive, round robin, and time-sliced. Kernel objects include tasks, semaphores, queues, mailboxes/messages, pipes, event sources, counters/alarms, memory partitions, mutexes, and exceptions (interrupt handling). Other features of the LPC4300 MCU include single-cycle media access controller (MAC), single-instruction multiple-data techniques, saturating arithmetic, a floating-point unit, and up to 264 kbytes of SRAM.
