Agilent Technologies Inc. (www.agilent.com) announced that Thales (www.thalesgroup.com) plans to incorporate Agilent's software tools into the design process of Thales' next-generation defense and communication products.

Thales plans to integrate both the Agilent ADS platform and the ICCAP modeling software into its products, and designs of their high-frequency systems, microwave PC boards and MMICs are expected to become standardized on Agilent electronic design tools worldwide.
